Urby Emanuelson is hoping for a fresh start at Milan this season and wants to become a first-team regular.
The Netherlands international was loaned out to Fulham last term after finding it hard to break into Massimo Allegri s side.
After 13 appearances in the Premier League he returned to Italy and has set his sights on helping Milan push for the Serie A title.
Emanuelson has been involved in the International Champions Cup in USA and he hopes it is a new beginning for him.
I feel that (this is a chance) for me to start a new period in Milan, he said. I m glad to be back here, I want to play, do well and help the team.
For me it is important to play full-back or midfield playmaker, I think this year I should think about taking the left-back spot.
The 27-year-old has made 51 appearances for the Italian side since his arrival in 2011.
